SIGNIFICANT REAL ESTATE PROPERTY TRANSACTIONS

We participated as legal counsels to 3M in the acquisition of the land which extension is 30,000 m2, where 3M has built its warehouse located in Chorrillos, Lima. We are still advising 3M in order to change the use of land for urban purposes at the Municipal level and Public Registry.
Avinka S.A.
We provide legal advice to Avinka S.A., a Peruvian subsidiary of ContiGroup Companies Inc., in the acquisition of commercial locations in Lima and provinces. At present, we are helping Avinka S.A. to solve a legal problem of a property purchased in a public bid in Paramonga, north of Lima.
Bristol-Myers Squibb
Our firm acted as legal advisor to Bristol-Myers Squibb in the transfer of the Clairol business which includes the transfer of a real estate property located in Surquillo, Lima.
Canadian Embassy
In the last years we have provided legal advice to the Canadian Embassy in the sale and acquisition of real estate properties in Lima. Currently we are advising them for the new Canadian site Project in Lima.
Cerro Verde
We provided legal services to Cerro Verde to purchase approximately 14,000 m2 from IBM Peru, for the construction of a business center.
Corporación Aceros Arequipa S.A.
We advised Corporación Aceros Arequipa S.A. to purchase an industrial area of 3,500 m2 (Callao area) that belonged to 58 former workers of Yale Ausaco, which went bankrupt. We had to fix the legal documents of such former workers so that they could transfer the industrial property to our client.
Duit 400 S.A.
We provided legal counsel to Duit 400 S.A. to purchase a store area in downtown Lima, which belonged to 48 former workers of Mutual Peru. We negotiated the purchase of the property and fixed the legal documents and municipal taxes so that such workers could legally transfer the property to our client.
El Cangrejo Club
We advised El Cangrejo Club to get a concession of a beach area from the Peruvian Navy. This area is located south from Lima and is one of the few private beaches existing in Peru.
Embassy of the United States of America
We acted as legal counsels to the Embassy of the United States of America for the acquisition of the property where their new office is located, as well as in the sales of their former offices.
GlaxoSmithKline Peru S.A.
Our firm provided legal advice to GlaxoSmithKline Peru S.A. in the acquisition of its offices located in San Isidro, Lima.
Inversiones Urubamba S.A.
We acted as legal advisors to a private investor in the acquisition of a Hotel in Cusco, Peru.
Kimberly Clark
We have acted as legal counsels to Kimberly Clark in the acquisition of 62,000 m2 of land for its new factory in Chorrillos, Lima as well as in the sale of their old factory in Surquillo, Lima. We are still assisting Kimberly Clark with the proceedings before the public organisms, municipal governments and, in due time the Public Registry, in order to change the use of land for urban purposes.
We have just concluded advising Kimberly Clark in the purchase of 78,220 m2 in order to consolidate the other properties it has in the District of Puente Piedra, Lima.
Petroperu, Cemento Sur and Cementos Yura
Our firm participated as the Law Firm in charge of the design and execution of the privatization process of Petroperu, Cemento Sur and Cementos Yura. In these privatizations the transfer of the real estate properties of such companies was an issue, we participated in the formalization and registration of such properties. In the case of Petroperu, we had to delimit the area of a refinery and port and register it in the Public Registry.
Procter & Gamble
We acted as lawyers to Procter & Gamble for the acquisition of the building in Miraflores, Lima where their offices are currently located.
Royal & SunAlliance
We acted as legal counsels to Royal & SunAlliance in the transfer of 23 real estate properties located in Lima and other provinces, to a new entity incorporated to run a real estate business. The transfer included the formalization of all the mentioned properties.
Also, we advised them with the legal documents and contracts needed for the construction and organization of the shopping mall “Royal Plaza” in the northern part of Lima.
Sandvik del Peru S.A.
We were retained by Sandvik del Peru S.A. to provide them legal advice in the negotiation and execution of the contracts related to the acquisition of a surface rights to a land of 10,000 m2 where they have constructed their current offices in Lima.
Scania del Peru S.A.
Our firm provided legal advice to Scania del Peru S.A. in the acquisition of its new plant located in Chosica, Lima.
The Trillium Corporation
We advised The Trillium Corporation to purchase more than 400 hectares for agricultural purposes in a public bid in Trujillo, 600 Km. north of Lima. This acquisition was performed through a public bid.
Also, we advised the purchase of more land in the area for the extension of the agriculture area.
Thunderbird
Our firm advised Thunderbird to purchase the hotel chain of Las Americas of Caja de Pensiones Militar Policial, which included 6 hotels for a total price of US$43 million.
Total Artefactos S.A.
The firm provided legal advice to Total Artefactos S.A. in the acquisition of two stores in Lima, for an approximate amount of US$2’000,000.00.
